CPR for Adult, Child and Infant, and AED (2.5 Hrs)

The CPR/AED program is specifically designed for persons who are occupationally required or desire to have CPR and AED knowledge and skills.   Training includes CPR for adult, child and infant, using mannequins that simulate performing CPR on an actual patient.  The program is based upon the 2010 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) and other evidence-based treatment recommendations.

Training materials

All students receive handouts commensurate with the specific training.

Successful completion (2 year certification)

  • Written evaluation: Required when specified by organizational, local, or state regulation. It is recommended for designated responders with a duty or employer expectation to respond in an emergency and provide first aid care.
  • Performance evaluation: All students must perform required skills competently without assistance.
