Bloodborne Pathogen Awareness (1 hour)
The Bloodborne Pathogen Awareness program includes information that will help students reduce or eliminate occupations risk of bloodborne pathogens. The course includes techniques on how to avoid exposure and manage an accidental exposure if one occurs. In addition, the course includes the proper techniques to remove spills that may contain bloodborne pathogens. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.
Intended audience
Individuals that may come into contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials as a result of performing designated job duties.
