Combination Training:  CPR, AED and Basic First Aid (5 Hours)

The combination training of CPR, AED and Basic First Aid allows students to complete CPR and first aid training requirements at one time.  the expanded class includes CPR for adult, child and infant, simulated AED practice and first aid basics.  The program helps develop CPR and first aid skills, and confidence to respond in an emergency situation. This course is designed to be consistent with recommendations of 2010 National First Aid Science Advisory and OSHA’s best practices for first aid training programs in the workplace.

Intended audience

Individuals who require or desire CPR, AED and first aid knowledge and skills; including emergency response teams in business and industry, school bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, child care workers, teachers, parents, and babysitters.

Training materials

All students receive handouts commensurate with the specific training.

Successful completion (2 year certification)

  • Written evaluation: Required when specified by organizational, local, or state regulation. It is recommended for designated responders with a duty or employer expectation to respond in an emergency and provide first aid care.
  • Performance evaluation: All students must perform required skills competently without assistance
